Remote Switching

The challenge to meet modern arc flash risk mitigation regulations has developed a need for remote switching high current isolators. The alternative involves replacing whole motor control centres (MCC’s) at great cost and with associated production loss.

ICM have successfully addressed this issue by developing and implementing a process for the installation of remote switching systems to high arc flash risk switching units.

ICM work closely with the client to plan and effect the installation and commissioning. The aim being to minimise downtime, with the least risk.

Our installation teams are given situation-specific training prior to mobilisation to site, ensuring a smooth transition process during the installation.
